Playing her cards right in Wellesley

whalecard1

One vendor that caught our eyes at last weekend’s Massachusetts Marketplace Festival at Elm Bank Reservation was Stayman Cards, a Wellesley business that makes homemade greeting cards like the one shown here. Suzy Stayman has been selling the cards for 3 years, noting that she has “always been into colors and sending out beautiful things into the world.” The cards, which she makes out of a basement studio and which feature fun colors such as juicy red and popsicle lime, are available at various retailers, including Different Drummer and Cache in Wellesley. The cards cost $2 apiece, or $10 for a box of 6. For more info, contact Stayman at suzystayman@yahoo.com.
