Hair West’s old location at 558 Washington St. now features brown paper-insulated windows but it looks like a new tenant might be prepping for action. Panoply Day Spa last week was scheduled to make its case before town officials for an awning at that location.
Meanwhile, a few storefronts up the block in the space formerly occupied by East Gallery at 544A Washington St. now is adorned with a sign for an interior design firm called Shafer O’Neil
Speaking of local businesses, Sweet Beads on 1 Crest Rd in Wellesley is opening a second store next month. It will be in Lexington on Mass Ave. next to the cinema.
