Wellesley native to star in new sitcom

The Boston Business Journal reports that the school expects to cut up to 85 jobs in light of the economic downturn. The school hopes to lure a good number of employees into retirement by offering them packages.

Kudos for Cricket

The Massachusetts Arborists Association has recognized Cricket Vlass with its 2008 VISTA award, the highest honor that the group bestows. Vlass, Wellesley’s landscape planner, was recognized for volunteerism, leadership and vision. Perrin Park meeting recap

Channel 5 was on the scene, as Wellesley residents have their say on the leash law issue surrounding Perrin Park, where the possibility of specified off-leash hours has been discussed.
