The Boston Globe details just which parts of Wellesley High school local preservationists are intent on having worked in to the new building, scheduled to open as soon as 2012. Among the treasures: a brick walkway, a Sylvia Plath plaque and the clock tower. Needham and Brookline, in building new schools, made similar considerations to preserve the past and provide a link.
