The Massachusetts Historical Commission says not so fast on the new Wellesley High School building project, according to this Townsman story. There’s disagreement between the commission and Wellesley officials over how much of a head’s up was given to the MHC over the project, which involves razing the 1938 building (but preserving certain elements for purposes to be determined). Jeez, the next thing you know people will be wanting to save Fenway Park.
