We found one! We found one!
Home sales have been hard to come by in Wellesley of late, according to the latest Warren Group numbers. Last June 48 single-family homes were sold in town, but this June the number is just 37, down 22%. However, the median price has snuck up to $1.2 million from a little over a million. Statewide, [...]
Snow job?
The Shell Station on Rte. 9 at Overbrook Drive is becoming the new hotspot in town. Last week a driver rammed into the station. This week, the Wellesley and Natick public safety officials responded to a smoky and apparently snowy scene. Turns out workers trying to fix the damage from last week’s crash accidentally set [...]

I guess this is a kinda non-news story. Having heard and read about the latest zebra mussel scare out in the Berkshires, I was wondering whether this invasive species has dared to take a dip in any of Wellesley’s watering holes or water ways. Janet Bowser, who heads up the Natural Resources Commission in town, [...]

Wellesley's places of worship
Wellesley has some old places of worship. Wellesley also has some old worshippers. The Globe has chosen to take pictures of the buildings (and ones in Newton). Here’s a link to their slideshow and a list of local places of worship.

Painting the town pink
I saw these Pink Ladies strolling up Rte. 135 the other day but wasn’t in a position to stop and stare and take pictures. The Townsman was and here’s a YouTube video documenting the breast cancer awareness effort.

A synopsis of the film on Mazzio’s website for Ten9Eight goes like this: “In America, a kid drops out of high school every 9 seconds. Imagine if they didn’t.
