MassHort Festival of Trees coming to Elm Bank Reservation

MassHort will liven up the holidays locally by presenting a Festival of Trees at Elm Bank Reservation from Nov. 20-Dec. 4 on Rte. 16 at the Wellesley/South Natick/Dover borders.

The plan is to dress up the Hunnewell Building with trees that celebrate art, music sports and more (The Concord Museum annually does something like this, with trees decorated based on book themes. It’s kind of fun.)

MassHort is now soliciting businesses, clubs, etc. to contribute a decorated tree, which would be on display for 2 weeks. “It’s great advertising, wonderful good will, and it will help a very worthy cause,” according to Joyce Bakshi, who came up with the idea and is the contact person if interested (978-470-0263 or email here).
