During his debate last night with Michael Flaherty, Jr., Boston Mayor Tom Menino said half of the schools in the state could stand improvement, not just Boston schools. He cited those in Wellesley, Brookline and Weston as well.
‘‘They all fit into the same category we fit into,’’ Menino said, according to a Boston Globe account.
