The company that owns 13 Brigham’s ice cream shops/restaurants is expected to file for bankruptcy protection today according to the Boston Globe and other news outlets, and has already been closing its shops, but another dozen or so independently-owned Brigham’s restaurants will remain open, including Wellesley’s, according to signs on the door. Just make sure you bring cash, since credit/debit isn’t being accepted.
