Wellesley schools Superintendent Bella Wong Tuesday night made recommendations for spending cuts, including possible elimination of elementary band and orchestra (time for the kids to start practicing “Taps”?). More coverage in the Boston Globe. More discussion will take place at Town Hall tonight at 7:30pm and the School Committee is expected to vote on the budget (last night’s meeting looked well attended).
