Nothing like a little fresh competition to get the business juices flowing. No sooner does Upper Crust Pizzeria hit Wellesley Square than Alta Strada diagonally across the street bolsters its market menu. Reader NC says staff at Alta Strada mentioned putting in a new downstairs pizza oven and adding new items to the menu, including a bunch of subs. Sub offerings include Mamma Zecca’s Eggplant Parm and the Italian Social Club.
