The FBI is seeking the public help to ID a suspect believed to have robbed at least 6 banks at gunpoint, including the TD Bank in Wellesley on Rte. 9 on May 1. The suspect, dubbed the South Side Bandit for 4 robberies on the south side of Newton, has not been connected to more than 1 robbery at any brand of bank. Up to $20K in reward money is at stake for anyone whose tip leads to the conviction of the thief and any accomplices.
