The Townsman is reporting that J.S. Waterman & Sons & Waring of 592 Washington St. in Wellesley is closing its doors after 89 years at the end of June due to an unresolved lease issue. The funeral home will merge with a related funeral home in Sudbury that just happened to expand recently. That still leaves Henry J. Burke & Sons and George F. Doherty & Sons as more local options.
