Wellesley police are investigating an accident in which a Wellesley woman was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when hit by a Jeep traveling on Rte. 9 near the Wellesley Fire Department building. The woman, whose name was not released, was airlifted to Mass General Hospital. Her dog was also treated for injuries.
More from WHDH-TV, Channel 7, which reports the 60-year-old woman suffered loss of blood and leg injuries, but that the injuries are not life threatening.
