Wellesley High School taps new boys basketball coach

Wellesley High School has named Glen Magpiong as its new boys basketball coach. Magpiong has been with the team’s staff since 2004 as  a varsity assistant coach and freshmen coach. He replaces Luke Day, who resigned this spring after 8 seasons at the helm and after leading the team to an 11-7 record this past year.

Magpiong previously was head girls coach at Acalanes High School in Lafayette, Calif. He has also been active as an AAU coach locally.
