Dozens of Wellesley residents within a quick 10-minute spin around town at about 7AM watered their lawns despite a mandatory water ban implemented earlier this week.

Though I’m aware of the ban, and shut off my sprinklers, I’m not sure how everyone would know that the ban is in effect if they haven’t visited this website or the town website.
