What more can be said about the Rte. 16/9 bridge project, which started back in the 1950s or so at an estimated cost of about ten bucks but has finally wrapped with an estimated contract value of $8M-plus (though yes, workers from contractor SPS were seen this morning fiddling with hoses and carrying around bricks, and a police officer was observed squeezing in a detail job on a nearby road).
