Spin for Turtle (the dog)

Wellesley’s Spynergy Cycling Studio (386 Washington St.) is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 11am-noon to support an abandoned/injured dog named Turtle (see video). Sign up for the $20 class here. 100% of the fees will go to the Animal Rescue League in support of the dog’s medical and other expenses.

World of Wellesley team wins spelling bee

The team of Melissa Clemence, Martha Downes and Jennifer Lim took home top honors at the annual Wellesley Bee held Thursday night. The event, featuring about 50 three-person teams, is a fundraiser for the Wellesley Education Foundation.
